• Electrical control circuitry, symbols and circuit diagrams
• Use of Limit Switches, Relays, Sensors, Timers and Counters.
• Introduction to Programmable Logic Control
• Ladder Diagrams and Statement Lists
• Wiring of Inputs and Outputs
• Writing a Control Programme and Use of diagnostic Indicators for Fault Diagnosis.
• Use of Programmer to monitor circuit operation
• Biased training towards Company equipment if required

Format

Mixture of theoretical work in classroom environment, practical demonstration of practical techniques with course members carrying out the task under supervision and practical exercises on a PLC Controller.
