Course Content

• Revision of Module One
• Boolean Algebra, functions and rules.
• Combinational and Sequential Logic functions
• Knowledge of the system to be controlled
• Writing a Control Programme and Use of diagnostic Indicators for Fault Diagnosis.
• Use of Programmer to monitor circuit operation, examine status and modify data.
• Fault finding using all techniques to Input/Output card replacement
• Biased training towards company equipment, practice in the use of techniques learned on plant. Subject to Company approval.

Format

Mixture of theoretical work in classroom environment, practical demonstration of practical techniques with course members carrying out the task under supervision and practical exercises on a PLC Controller.
