Aim

To give delegates a working overview of the analysis tools to enable them to carry out basic quantitative Risk Assessments for particular applications.

• FMEA - Failure Modes Event Analysis -(component failure and effects) - Analyze effects and consequences
• ETA - Event Tree Analysis - (initiating event up)
• Assess overall Risk
• Reliability Technology
• FTA - Fault Tree Analysis - (top event down e.g. explosion) - targets and criteria
• Tolerability of Risk
• Case studies and analysis - individually and in syndicate groups
