Delegation - CDROM
How to use other people’s time to save your own
Good delegation makes things happen – quickly and
efficiently. With today’s time pressures, there are few managers and
supervisors who could not benefit from better delegation skills.
This programme will help your staff to delegate effectively
- by examining their attitudes to delegation and exploring the skills necessary
to manage the delegation process.
The learner is introduced to a group of characters who work
for a construction company. They have one month to put together a pitch for a
job in the Middle East, and the learner is in charge of the project. The action
centres around three departments within the company: estimating, personnel and
marketing. The learner makes delegation decisions and is awarded points if
correct. But beware! Points will also be deducted for incorrect decisions.
The programme helps to identify the mechanisms that need to
be put in place to monitor delegated tasks.
