Tracking and Control - CDROM
Principles of Project Management Series - Module 3
Once the project planning is complete, it’s time to execute.
This programme shows how a project manager tracks and
controls the project to ensure it stays on course. Using two case studies,
trainees learn when to review projects and how to re-plan when necessary. This
programme delivers the skills your team needs to keep your projects on course.
It also instils managers with the confidence to take appropriate action if
things do start to slip.
Project tracking means keeping abreast of what is happening during the course of the project – so
that the team knows the project status ‘now.’ In an exercise, learners are
asked to think about what information they will need to solve certain problems,
and are shown techniques to enable them to keep sight of the long term
objectives.
