Portable Appliance Testing Training
Introduction
The Health and Safety Executive states that 25% of reported electrical
accidents involve the use of a portable electrical appliance - defined as any
moveable appliance connected to the mains via a plug. The Electricity at Work
Regulations recommend that all companies should have a named person responsible
for portable electrical appliance safety.
Aims
To enable delegates to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to be able
to instigate and implement a testing programme for portable electrical
appliances.
