Electrical Skills Part 2 Motors and Motor Control Systems
Introduction
This is the second of three courses dealing with electrical maintenance. It is a practical course and is intended for personnel who will be required to carry out first-line maintenance and fault finding on a variety of motors and motor control systems. The course may be studied as part of a multi skill training
programme.
Aims
To provide maintenance personnel with the skills and knowledge necessary to
undertake testing, repair and maintenance activities on AC/DC motors and motor
controls safely and efficiently.
Prior electrical knowledge is essential. Persons with little or no previous
experience should firstly undertake our Electrical Maintenance part 1 course,
'Electrical Principles & Safety'.
