Environmental Management - interactive CDROM
Introduction
Increasingly, companies are integrating environmental management systems
into their business structures. The introduction of BS7750, ISO 14001 and the
European Community Environmental Management & Audit Scheme (EMAS) provide a
formal structure for environmental management which can be independently
verified.
External accreditors can certify sites that meet the requirements of the
standard. This will allow customers, insurers, the public and other stakeholders
to have confidence that the company is taking positive steps to improve its
performance.
This course, which course is suitable for all levels of employees, aims to
explain the key environmental issues facing both manufacturing and
administrative sites.
It can be used as part of an Environmental Management System for certification
